The Cobblestone path

WALT: write poetic writing
Cobblestone path

As the children play I get older and weaker.
All day and night, I lay there motionless.
The light blues and greys, faded and turned to rust.
* I am as rough as sandpaper although some children are so tough that they can walk in their bare feet.
*Thousands of cracks, the colour just black, start to suddenly grow.
The rectangular path fits perfectly in the old court corner.
