Weather Facts

Weather Ideas
WALA: Make connections between their prior knowledge and the concrete examples in a text in order to understand abstract ideas in the text
When it was the end of the book (nature's extremes wild weather) there was a list of things that we could look up on google. You could also look up some facts. These are some of the thing that you could look up.
Idea 1.Clouds can contain millions of tons of water.Image result for storm clouds

Idea 2.Liquid can be changed into snow,sleet or ice by the temperature and humidity.

Idea 3.Hurricanes need cold and warm air and wind to keep them moving. Sometimes they never make it to land because they die at sea

Idea 4.Young children and adults over the age of 65 are most likely to experience heat exhaustion or other heat-related illnesses.
Idea 5.The majority of these tornadoes occur in a geographically unique area nicknamed ‘Tornado Alley’.
