Informational Report #1

WALA: crafting an information report that is structured correctly and uses technical words to provide clear description

Title: Animals in the zoo


Macro: There are many animals from different countries around the world in zoos.


Macro: All zoo animals live in different  enclosures, suited to them so people can safely see them.


Link sentence: Lions, giraffes & pandas are some of the animals that you will find in the zoo.


Noun:
Lions
are very large animals from the cat family. They are a tawny brown colour. Their fur & manes are very rough.


Noun:
Giraffes
are tall, skinny animals. Their skin is very rough. They have been in zoos for decades.


Noun:
Pandas
are big & round animals. They are black & white. They like to eat bamboo.

Conclusion: Many people go to zoos to get a close look at the animals safely. The animals in the zoos are from different countries so you don’t have to travel so far. The animals go in different enclosures that suits them. The animals are in zoos because the animals are not easily accessible.
