In Flanders Fields

This poem was sweet but made me sad to think of all the men we had lost but made me feel glad that it is all over now and that we have upgraded a lot.

    Kia ora Jessica,

    I like how you started to write about the emotions that this poem made you feel. This poem also made me feel sad and relieved at the same time. I was sad thinking about all the lives that were lost, but also I feel relieved that we no longer live in a country that is torn by war. I'm relived we live in a peaceful and safe country.

    Are you able to tell me a little bit more about whether or not you like this poem? I'm curious to know why you feel this way.
