What do you think about logging? On your blog tell us whether you think logging should be allowed in New Zealand. Be sure to provide at least two reasons to support your argument.
I don't know what to believe because
- Wood is extremely helpful for creating things e.g. houses, chairs, tables
- It makes nice money for NZ
- Where the trees have been logged it just ruins the landscape
- Wildlife create homes to have them taken away

ReplyDeleteYou have brought up some great points here, it can definitely be hard to pick a side with things like this when you can see pro's and con's for both arguments!
I like that you have thought about what the logging industry offers/helps with in New Zealand - You are right, it can be a valuable resource for building and helping financially in New Zealand - it is also giving a lot of people jobs.
Do you think we could come up with an alternative?
It is not very nice that logging can create a huge problems for wildlife and their habitats - Do you know which animals are being effected by logging in New Zealand?
I think that you have done a great job at clearly outlinging how you feel about logging Jessica, I am really impressed with your ability to consider both sides of the fence before you make your decision.
